ABOUT ME

Hey guys! In case you didn't know, I'm 30 years old, married to my best friend, and mother to two little spitfires, ages 6 and 4 . I play the violin like a crazy woman and I love it {click HERE to check out my professional website}!

I try to live life to its fullest, even though I'm not always the best at it. I'm a firm believer in enjoying the little moments, because those are the things that make up the fabric of our lives.

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and my faith means everything to me! You can click HERE to learn all you need to know. I want to use this blog to uplift and inspire others with stories of my not-so-extraordinary life. . . hopefully it happens that way.

Now, to give you just a little bit of back story:

I attended Snow College for 2 years as a Music Education Major. I had a BLAST. Holy moley, yes. I wouldn't trade those memories for anything!

I married my amazing hubby, Chuck on April 23, 2010 in the Bountiful, Utah temple. You can read about how we met HERE. We found out we were expecting our first bundle of joy on April 5, 2011, and little Miss Hannah was born in November, 2011. You can read about her birth story HERE. Mr. Curtis announced his impending arrival the day after Father's Day 2013 and graced our lives with his sweet spirit in February, 2014. You can read about his birth story HERE.

Some things I love are : my little family, sugar, springtime, hand written notes, surprises, the Gospel, yellow and purple, correct grammar, gummy baby smiles, wide open spaces, hitting a string of green street lights, learning how to sew new things, cute fonts, polka dots, using a Thesaurus, Mt Dew {"Timber" and "Schrute Fruit" from FiiZ if we're getting technical}, laughing with good friends, watching my dog chase her tail, baskets, eating chocolate, goofing off with the love of my life, and writing.

Despite having as many kids as I do arms, I teach private violin lessons a couple times a week and hire out as a professional violinist. Oh, man. I just love it. Ferociously. So, if you happen to be in the market for a violinist, you can click HERE to learn more. In 2015, I recorded my first CD and made my first music video {found HERE}. . . it was SO fun and a wonderful learning experience. I released a Christmas CD in 2016 and had the time of my life! I hope that I can keep pursuing that avenue and keep polishing my passion.

If you walk away with nothing else from this massive post-- I have bad days, and I have good ones, too.

I cry, and I laugh. I smile and I scowl.

I'm human. And it's glorious. :)
